Sedanster
Automotive RenderAn original car concept. A compact red sedan with a sporty silhouette and a detailed interior.
Sedanster was my attempt at designing a car from scratch rather than recreating an existing one. I wanted something that felt plausible — a compact, sporty four-door sedan with clean proportions. The red metallic paint was chosen early because it shows surface curvature better than darker colors.
The exterior went through about a dozen iterations before I landed on the final shape. Early versions had too many creases and looked overwrought. I kept removing lines until the surfaces spoke for themselves. The character line running from the headlight to the tail is the only sharp crease on the body.
I built a basic interior for this one, which I usually skip. The dashboard is minimal, with a clean layout visible through the windows. The seats have visible stitching that was probably too much effort for how small they appear in the final render, but I liked how they turned out.
