Robot Characters

Render Series

Four robot characters with screen faces and different personalities. Matte white bodies with colored accents.

I made these during a week when I was burned out on architectural renders and wanted to do something that didn't require a floor plan. Robots are fun because the design constraints are entirely self-imposed. No client brief, no real-world physics to respect, no "would this actually work as a building."

Each robot has a different personality expressed through proportion and posture. The tall one with thin limbs reads as cautious. The short, round one reads as cheerful. Their faces are simple screen displays showing smiley expressions — just enough to give each one a character without overcomplicating it.

The materials are deliberately simple: matte white body panels, colored accent pieces in blue and teal, dark joints. It's the same material language as modern consumer electronics, which makes the robots feel like they could be real products rather than sci-fi characters.
